The areas around the Canandaigua Lake has some of the richest agricultural lands, which help it produce some of the best wines.

 

The wine trail itself includes five different wineries, two wine centers, a host of restaurants, shopping centers and even a golf coast. If you find yourself too tipsy to continue on the trail, you can always stop at the New York Wine and Culinary Center where you can taste wines and food from all around New York state in just one place.

 

Cayuga Lake Wine Trail

 

The Cayuga Lake wine trail has fifteen wineries, one cidery, four distilleries and one meadery, which all in all have won thousands of awards over the years. The Cayuga Lake wine trail is known as the country's first, and has events lined up depending on the time of the year you visit.
